Yeah.

[She seems a little troubled by having to think about that question though. GUESS WHO'S DEALING WITH SOME SHIT BACK HOME]

I, uh... was in England, for a while. After... Serbia. And Blüdhaven. Wasn't ready to come home.

[Cass sighs, dragging a hand back through her hair before pulling in a deep breath.]

... I don't know. Bad. I gave up Batgirl.

[It's been a lot of agonizing soul searching and a lot of trauma dreams for the past few weeks.]

[Cass had noticed Tim was older, but it hadn't really stood out until he was in front of her. God, he got tall at some point, what the fuck. Or taller, anyway. Almost everyone's tall next to her. She saw him approaching before he waved, but let him do his thing.]

... Yeah. [She nods, hands loosely shoved in the pockets of her jacket, elbows pressed against her sides. Like she's trying to make herself seem even smaller than she is. Lead on, Timopher.]

You're... older, than you were.

[She tenses at first in the hug--she had expected it, seen it coming from the first micro-impulses of the action in his shoulders, but she's been pretty unused to positive physical contact lately.

Cass finally lets out a shaky breath, hugging him back, tight. She just nods against his shoulder in response at first, before pulling back.
]

You too. [a beat] I'm nineteen.

Um, should we... talk somewhere else?

[Oh no Tim that's definitely not it. Either way, she starts walking after him, hands back in her pockets.

She already regrets calling him, on the same irrational, self-destructive level that has driven her for the past few weeks. Cass realizes it would be so easy to get away. She could run right now, and go to ground somewhere in this city. She could trash her device. She could find a place where no one from home who knows what she's done, knows what she's capable of, would ever find her. She could disappear, and be alone with her regrets and her failures, like she believes she deserves.

Finally, slowly, she nods, though she can't shake the haunted look in her eyes. The tension in her entire body, the anxiety, is still clear.

Could eat.
